Can Foreigners own property in Bali ?
This is a grey area, the answer being yes, no and maybe’s. To eliminate any confusion involved with these ownership issues and the large costs involved, we provide two contractual methods:

Is the land “Freehold” my Villa is built on ?
Yes; The land is accompanied by an official land certificate issued by the Government, thus meaning this certificate shows the land the Villas are built on is “Freehold Land” and is authentic.
I want to purchase a Villa, what is the Contractual &
Payment procedure ?
The Contract Agreement is all signed and witnessed by all parties involved at the Notary Office. Due to the construction of the Villa taking 6 months to complete, the payment procedure will consist of 4 payments over that period. These payments are outlined in the Financial and the Terms & Conditions pages within this web site.
What is the time frame for construction of a Villa ?
The Villa will take 6 months to complete from the date of signing and the deposit received. It is just to allow better finishing in more detail.
Can I change the internal walls of the Villa design?
The internal walls can be altered to suit your requirements. However these changes must be discussed with our architect to ensure these changes can be made possible.
Can I rent my Villa ?
Upon the Villa owners request, the Villa can be rented out during your absences for your requested nightly, weekly or monthly rental fee. Due to the extra staff required for this service, the Tropis Living Property Group will manage this service for you and will retain 40% of these rental monies for providing this service.
Can I sell my Villa ?
All Villa owners can sell their Villas. The Villa owner who wishes to sell their Villas are liable for all the legal fees associated with this sale.
Please note: The Tropis Living Property Group will not receive any monies from these sales.
